Selected Work
Learning experiences created across digital and print.
Two projects developed for young learners demonstrate a different side of my work: understanding an audience, researching a subject, designing an appropriate experience, and carrying an idea through to a finished product.

Digital STEAM Summer Camp · 2020
Camp Quarantine began with a very human problem: during the 2020 pandemic, my nieces, nephews, their friends, and our younger cousins could not attend traditional summer camp or spend the summer together.
I created a shared online summer-camp experience that gave them structure, activities, learning opportunities, and a way to remain connected from their own homes. The Wix site included a daily schedule, STEAM experiments and crafts, resources for parents, and a private area where campers could log in, leave messages for one another, and share photos from the activities they completed.
I researched and curated activities from outside educational resources, credited and linked the original sources, and studied Florida educational standards to verify that selected activities were appropriately aligned.
The visual direction was intentionally whimsical and storybook-inspired. This was not meant to reproduce a classroom online; it was designed to feel like a place children would actually want to visit during an unusual summer.

Curriculum Alignment
Activities were reviewed against Florida educational standards across multiple subject areas. The goal was not to turn summer camp into school, but to make sure the experiments and activities had meaningful learning behind the fun.

Educational Publishing · Illustration · Product Design
Independent Author, Illustrator & Publisher
I developed and self-published a six-book collection designed to combine early learning with creative activity.
I took each title from initial concept through publication, including educational research, content development, illustration, cover and interior design, formatting, and final production for Amazon print-on-demand publishing.
Four bilingual counting books introduce the numbers 1–100 in English alongside German, Italian, French, and Spanish. Two early-literacy books use simple three- and four-letter words to support vocabulary development and beginning reading.
The books use large, bold letterforms and coloring activities to make the material approachable for young children while supporting number recognition, early language exposure, vocabulary development, creativity, and fine-motor practice.

Across Both Projects
Identify a need. Understand the audience. Research the subject. Design the right experience. Carry the idea through to a finished product.
The subject matter is education, but the working method is the same one I bring to technology, web, and product development: thoughtful problem-solving from concept through delivery.
